July Links and Loves

July has been a lovely month with lots of time spent outside so far!

July Links & Loves

Whew — July is flying by! We've been soaking up every bit of summer between lake days, pool dips, and RV road trips. With all the adventures, I’ve been finding little things that make life easier, more comfortable, and honestly, more fun. So I thought I’d round up some of my favorite finds this month in one spot. These are the things I’m loving right now — practical, pretty, and perfect for summer living.

Check out all of my finds right in my Amazon Storefront.

Lake Days & Pool Lounging Essentials

Let’s start with this cute swimsuit cover-up I picked up recently. It’s a lightweight, button-down shirt style that somehow manages to be both relaxed and polished. It washes beautifully (because let’s be real, lake and pool water is not kind to clothes), and it folds up small in a suitcase or tote without wrinkling. A total win.

Speaking of all that wet swimwear, I’ve been using Soak laundry soap lately, and I’m obsessed. It’s a no-rinse formula (yes, really — no rinsing!) and it gets rid of that funky pool smell and the dingy gray that clings to performance fabrics. I use it for swimsuits, delicates, and even my workout clothes. It’s gentle but effective — kind of a miracle worker in a bottle.

Long days in the sun mean better skin care!

Skincare That Keeps Up With Summer

Summer skin is tricky — lots of sweating, sunscreen, and time outdoors can leave your skin cranky. I added hypochlorous acid spray to my routine and it’s been a game changer. I spritz it on after workouts, after time in the sun, or just before bed. It helps calm my skin and keeps breakouts at bay.

I’ve also swapped out my old loofah for an African net sponge. These exfoliate so much better, last longer, and dry quickly (which keeps things more hygienic in a small RV bathroom). Pair it with Olay body wash and finish off with cocoa butter bath oil and your skin will be soft and glowing — even after a full day in the sun or pool.

Summer Makeup Favorites

When it’s hot out, I keep makeup simple. I’ve been living in Maybelline Lip Glaze Oil lately — it gives just enough shine and tint without feeling heavy. I have it in Pink Drip, Berry Haze, and Caramel, and all three pair perfectly with the Maybelline Lift Liner in Big Lift. Easy, low-maintenance, and perfect for that laid-back summer look.

Healthy Habits While Working From Home

Now that I’m working remotely more often, I’ve been sneaking in kettlebell swings between meetings. I started with 50 a day and gradually worked up to 100. It’s quick, gets the heart rate up, and breaks up those long stretches of sitting. It’s become my new mid-day energy boost.

RV Upgrades & Road Trip Essentials

Of course, no summer roundup would be complete without a few RV updates!

Our new Starlink mount was just what we needed for a better signal and stable use of our mobile Wi-Fi.

First up, we finally added a Starlink mount to our camper setup. No more propping it up with whatever we can find! Now it’s mounted, secure, and pointed north for a strong signal. My husband climbs the ladder, gets it in position, and we’re good to go. It’s such a small upgrade that made a huge difference for connectivity on the road.

This surge protector is easy to use and a campground essential!

We also picked up a new Kohree 30 amp surge protector. It plugs in easily and gives us peace of mind knowing that if there’s a power issue, it’ll shut everything down safely before it damages anything.

And last but not least, we gave our gear a summer refresh. I found the perfect trunk organizer for our tow vehicle. It’s become our go-to roadside emergency kit, keeping everything tidy, dry, and ready to go when we need it. You can find the Kohree Trunk organizer easily on Amazon.

That’s it for this month’s favorites! Whether you’re camping, hanging by the pool, or just trying to make the most of these sunny days, I hope something here helps you enjoy your summer just a little bit more.

Stay cool and safe out there, friends!
