Mini-mergency Kit - What's in Yours?

Wednesday, July 2, 2014

I like to plan for the every day "emergencies".  No I'm not a pessimist.  Exactly the opposite.  Call it my plan for daily success.

Having a kit on hand this kind of thing is essential to anyone who travels.  And, this is not exclusive to moms or working women.

I have a little cosmetic bag that I keep stashed in my bag for all kinds of daily whatevers.  So, what's in my bag?

  • Make Up Forever Pressed Powder Foundation - this is great for the mid day touch up or for long days that mean work bleeds over into evening!
  • Lipstick - a nuetral shade works great that will go with anything
  • Lip Balm - just for when I need this and not lipstick!
  • Mascara
  • Tide Stain Stick - need I say more?
  • Marc Jacobs Daisy Roller Ball
  • Kleenex purse pack
  • Listerine Breath Strips
Other things that you can add, travel toothbrush and travel toothpaste!  Those are other life savers!

This is a lifesaver on the road!  I cannot tell you the times that I have spilled coffee on a top driving down the road or realized that my day was not going to end at 5!

If you have a husband that travels, pack one for him too!  I wouldn't pack it in a cute pink bag, but I'm sure that you can stash him some things in a clear cosmetic bag or something that does't look girlie!  Men might want:
  • Chap-stick
  • Stain Stick
  • Small Deodorant - travel size
  • Listerine Breath Strips
  • Kleenex purse pack
  • Sample size of men's cologne
Planning for the unexpected is the best plan of all and simplifies life on so many levels.  I think that this is also a way to decrease stress in many situations.

Little spill on your clothes?  No worry!  I have a stain pen!  Or, I'm working late and am going to meet friends?  Sure!  I can freshen up at work!

Have a great week!  Plan for your next mini-mergency and see how much easier life is with just this one little bag!
